Upon entering the lobby at the Grand Sunset Princess Resort we were immediately struck by the contemporary look of the furniture, artwork, metalwork, sculptures and polished-marble flooring.  The lobby is open and bright and is well designed.  Our first impressions of the Grand Sunset Princess Resort were of a clean, crisp, bright, and polished hotel.

Closing Comments from Judy and Maria

The Grand Sunset Princess Resort opened in December 2007.  As with all new hotel openings, there are bumps and bruises  . . . new staff . . .  new guest rooms . . .  electricity . . .  water  . . .  all of which equal negative reviews in web forums.  This is the norm for a new opening.  Of importance to note is that those who elect to travel during this time period paying rock bottom rates will get what they paid for. Stop reading!

We firmly believe that the Grand Sunset Princess Resort is wonderful, value-added affordable vacation option. The Grand Sunset Princess Resort is an absolutely lovely all-inclusive resort that will get better-and-better with time.
