Our first vision of Dreams Punta Cana Resort was of a bright, well maintained hotel.  The lobby entrance to Dreams Punta Cana Resort is located on the second floor of the resort.  Upon entering the lobby one is presented with the sophisticated design of the lobby. One views the crystal chandeliers, the beautiful polished marble floor and the fine wood used in the furniture and décor will reinforce one's decision to vacation at Dreams Punta Cana Resort as an appropriate selection. The expansive, free form swimming pool that meanders from the lobby down to the beach is divided into an activities area and a relaxation area. Jacuzzis are next to the pool and kids can enjoy and play in their own pool area.  The pool is open from 7 am to 7 pm.  In addition to the huge river pool, there are also three children's pools.  Two pools for children from 1 to 4 years old located near the Kid's Club and the main pool and one other pool for children ages 5 to 11 years old located next to the Explorer's Club.

Kids will have a blast with all the fun-filled activities at the Explorer's Club!  Kids have their own exciting activities at the Explorer's Club for kids, the fully supervised children’s program for 3-12 year olds that will entertain and capture their attention with a different program each day based on science, nature and exploration. Activities include sandcastle competitions, ocean trampoline, arts & crafts, game room, a huge playground, Euro-bungee, pirate's ship waterslide, big screen movies on the beach and the weekly campout adventure!

On Wednesday nights, kids have the option of sleeping in tents at the club or at the beach, subject to parent’s approval. Parents can escape and relax with no worries because they will be provided with a pager so the Explorer's Club can easily keep in touch.

And there's more.. Dreams Punta Cana Resort has implemented a new standard that all Explorer's Club staff must be certified in Infant First Aid and CPR. Now parents can rest assured while their children participate in fun-filled activities with safety-certified employees in the Explorer's Club for kids. Beginning July 1, 2006 all staff members will have completed programs in Red Cross CPR, First Aid and Toddler CPR. Additional safety standards include non-lockable doors, padded floors and rounded corners. Don't worry parents - enjoy your own personal time while the Explorer's Club keeps your kids happy and busy with their own kind of supervised fun!

Children will absolutely love the pony rides on the beach.  Pony's from Rancho El Diferente, owners Daniel and Petra. The operation is first-class -- the horses are healthy, well-fed and their coats glisten.   The owners of the ranch have an extensive background in raising award-winning championship horses.

Petra originates from Germany and has an education in hotel management.  Daniel (a citizen of the Dominican Republic) also has a hotel management background.  Both Petra and Daniel are realizing their dream of owning a first rate ranch in the Dominican Republic thru hard work and their love for each other and their animals.

Children will love this experience!

• Explorer’s Club for Kids:  exclusively for children (ages 3- to 12-years-old) with huge playground area, pirate’s ship water slide and own pool, dino-dig, big screen movies on the beach at night, indoor game room, giant television, kitchenette, mini stage, climbing rock wall, play station games , with a weekly campout adventure and a free pony ride included.  Cellular phone system is available for parents in case they need to be contacted.  Open daily from 9:00 am until 10:00 pm.  All activities are fully supervised
