Judy and Maria's First Impressions of Dreams Cancun Resort
Dreams has evolved into a true first-class luxury all-inclusive hotel. The hotel is perfectly situated in the most scenic area (we always tell customers that Cancun is shaped liked a seven and is located in the corner of the seven) and is surrounded on three sides by the Caribbean Sea. The location of the hotel is within walking distance to shopping, attractions, nightlife and restaurants.
Explorer's Kids Club
The Explorer's Kids Club is large, bright and a "happy" spot for children to have a wonderful time. The 
Explorer's Kids Club has been brilliantly designed by Mr. Rod Gahr. The rock climbing wall is huge. The wall murals are beautifully painted and so colorful! The simultaneous water fountain play center is so much fun. Of course we noticed that the children were engrossed in video games at the game center section of the club. We noted the children having an absolute blast during beach camping with dinner and a movie on the 30 foot screen. And when you think it can't get any better, the kids absolutely love dinner and playing X Box on a 30 foot screen located on the beach (every Thursday).
This is Kid's Land and no adults are permitted in Kid's Land! (Sure makes the kids feel real special and they get a kick out of this fact). Little do they realize that safety is foremost and no one is allowed to enter kids land but the kids! Parents are even equipped with a beeper should the supervisors need to get in touch with them. The kids can have dinner at the club and the parents can have a relaxing dinner in one of the elegant restaurants on site. What a perfect family vacation for all!
It was very exciting for us to see many children in the Explorers Kids Club -- all of which were smiling and having a great time. So many times we visit the kids clubs at the resorts (all of which have wonderful programs implemented) but the clubs are devoid of children.
Babysitting can be arranged at the hotel for the little ones.

Dolphinarium
Dreams Cancun partners with Via Delphi, founder of the new generation dolphin swim 
programs in Mexico, to open the first resort dolphinarium in Mexico providing guests with the ultimate natural dolphin experience.
Delphinus Cancun, opened April 2007, will feature a world-class interactive program that will enable resort guests to observe the dolphins close up, allowing them to acquire first-hand knowledge of their behavior and habits. Along with guests of the hotel, Delphinus Dreams Cancun will offer the experience to Cancun visitors and locals as well.
The dolphin excursion will include round-trip transportation, complimentary goggles for underwater activities, lockers available for personal items and valuables, towels and an hour long dolphin experience. Delphinus Cancun makes the fifth dolphinarium operated by Via Delphi, offering a unique memorable experience in an unparalleled natural environment. Considered one of the most successful in the world, Via Delphi's breeding program has a survival rate which is double that of similar programs around the world and more than triple the survival rate found in the wild. Via Delphi is expecting six births in 2007, one of which will represent the third generation of dolphins born at Via Delphi. According to marine mammal specialists, the 
success of this program is a result of the environment provided and the care received including veterinary supervision, training, nutrition and the appropriate environment for socialization.

. . . there are Mayan Ruins set along the Ocean Walk. Imagine, Hurricane Wilma washed away concrete 
pilings and the sea water reached the third floor of the hotel, yet the Ruins stood untouched by the wind, rain, and water throughout time.
. . . there is a half mile running track leading throughout the resort for exercise. The running track is marked off with distance signs and we noted each morning the guests running the property.
. . . there are huge Iguanas on site. Both the children and the adults will love participating in the Iguanna Watch.
