Club Hacienda Principe
 The Gran Bahía Principe Club Hacienda has its own services such as an exclusive reception with private check-in and checkout, free access to the Internet and international press, bathrobes and in-room provision of towels for the swimming pool and the beach.
There are also 4 dinner reservations per week in the complex’s varied specialty restaurants.
Staying at Gran Bahía Club Hacienda also gives guests access to all the resort’s facilities, except for Club Royal Golden and Club Premier.
Club Royal Golden Principe
 CLUB ROYAL GOLDEN PRÍNCIPE is set in an exceptional location, surrounded  by palm trees and has facilities designed for those people who are seeking the utmost in comfort. Royal Golden Príncipe provides innumerable special services so that all you have to do is enjoy yourself.
Its Clubhouse provides a welcome with private check-in and check out, and a free local press and Internet access service.
Room service, extra features such as a coffeemaker (upon request), bathrobes and in-room towels for the swimming pool and beach.
There are also 4 dinner reservations per week in the complex’s varied specialty restaurants.
Staying at the Royal Golden Príncipe also gives you access to all the Resort’s facilities, except for Club Premier and Club Hacienda.
Club Premier
 Designed for adults, the Club Premier at the Bahia Principe Resorts are surrounded by gardens abounding with flowers, coconut and banana trees and other native species. The Club Premier is the ideal vacation for adults.
Club Premier has exclusive facilities for club members and rooms include bathrobes, slippers and other special features. There are four dinner reservations per week in the complex’s varied speciality restaurants. Staying at the Club Premier also gives you access to all the resort’s facilities except for Club Royal Golden and Club Premier.

APPLE VACATIONS, the top Tour Operator in the U.S., has given Bahia Príncipe Clubs and Resorts the CRYSTAL AWARD, considered to be the most important prize in the tourism industry in the North American market.
The awards ceremony was held on September 11th in Chicago. During the evening, the Chairman of the American company, John Mullen, handed the prestigious award to the Chairman of Grupo Piñero, Mr. Pablo Piñero, who was accompanied by the CEO of the chain, Mr. Fausto Sedano.
The award for the "Best Hotel Chain" category bears witness to the important acknowledgment given to the chain by APPLE VACATIONS, the premier Tourist Operator in the U.S., as the results are obtained on the basis of the questionnaires sent to travel agencies to assess the quality of the product, facilities and services.
Four GOLDEN APPLE prizes were also awarded on the same occasion to the following hotels:

This is not the first time that this hotel chain, which belongs to the Piñero Group, has received international recognition, as it has received awards from the main European and Canadian Tour Operators since it was created just 10 years ago. It has also received prizes from the American market, as it has received several of the prestigious Golden Apple awards since 2002. However, this is the first year the chain has been given this Tour Operator's most important prize, the CRYSTAL AWARD, for the best hotel chain.
This award is the international recognition for the chain’s expansion in recent years and continued growth, as next November will see the inauguration in the Dominican Republic of Gran Bahía Príncipe La Romana ***** and Gran Bahía Príncipe Ambar ***** Don Pablo Collection, the new brand launched this year by the company.

Maria (and Judy),
" It was a pleasure speaking with you (Maria) this morning. First of all thank you  for arranging our trip. We had a great time and the Bahia Principe Ambar was exceptional! We were in a prime location (building 64) and had a great time. As we spoke, we had one wrinkle (there was a problem with the door handle), but it was fixed and all was well. The service overall was good. The resort is absolutely beautiful and the Ambar side is the perfect size. The shows are on the other side, but the trolleys are very frequent. The gym is very nice for a beach resort. I even took an indoor cycling class. You could also use the shower there if you had a very late flight (we ran into a couple from Canada who had done that after checkout). The food was excellent. It was a definite upgrade from the immediately lower price level resort we stayed two years ago (about $300/week/person difference - well worth it!). The buffets were surprisingly good. The selection of the prepared dishes was extensive and the option of having steak, lamb chops or fish grilled to order was a real plus - especially since I am allergic to shellfish. The other restaurants were good as well. Don Pablo Gourmet and the Grill (the steak house on the other side of the resort) were exceptional. The Brazilian was good and the Mexican also. We did not try the others. Definitely eat breakfast at Portofino by the beach a couple of times (more private and some different choices). Even the lunch buffet at the beach had excellent choices. Drinks were good (medium to top shelf). We ordered from the wine list at the Grill and Don Pablo Gourmet and it was worth the extra cost ($30). That being said, it was the only extra cost on the resort and our choice.
Like I said the place is beautiful. The room was very nice including the LCD TV, sofa, and robe were key and bathroom is very nice (separate shower and spa tub). The pool is a nice size and the swim up bar is a nice touch. The beach as expected was beautiful and the water crystal clear.
Like our last trip to DR, guests still need to know all that is offered before arriving (there is a lack of information in writing at the resort). We forgot to inquire about some sports activities and never called room service (no menu in the room), but I think this is a reflection of the great time we were having and the broad array of food available...
Also, the transportation to/from airport was good as was the Apple rep on site.
