Judy and Maria's First Impression of Secrets Silversands Riviera Cancun
Upon walking into the air-conditioned lobby of the hotel, one's first impression is “Wow!” The lobby and décor throughout the hotel is bright, fresh, and is a combination of European sophisticatio
n and South Beach trendy décor! The azure blue glass-mirrored wall backdrop behind the reception desks, and the matching contemporary furniture, is well-designed, soft-colored, bright, and distinctive.
Walking through the lobby guests will come upon a glass-enclosed spiral staircase leading to the lower level of the hotel which features the lobby bar. Looking down the staircase to the lower level one experiences an optical illusion with the mirrored floor that makes the hotel look like multi-levels.

The pools wind throughout the property. Guests with swim out rooms (located on lower floors) are only steps away from the pool. Judy and Maria had the honor of attending the Gala Ribbon Cutting Celebration at the Secrts. Silversands Riviera Cancun. In attendance were owners, dignitaries, VIPs, press, and management teams. Dear Maria,
We just got back Thursday night from our fabulous stay at Secrets Silversands Resort. Upon our arrival we were greeted with an upgrade to a oceanfront room and preferred club status which was absolutely amazing and wonderful. Our thanks to you for making this happen and what a great surprise it was that was truly enjoyed each day. In the Preferred Club building we were able to enjoy private concierge service where we met a young man named Fadhir who made himself available each time we entered and took care of some very important business matters I needed to deal with. The other young man in the same area named Josue made sure we always had our special coffee and snacks we enjoyed ready each day and was a real pleasure to talk with on a down to earth level.
As promised I did see the General Manager Javier and passed on yours and Judy's greeting to him which in turn he immediately responded that I must be Mr. Finelli and welcomed me to the resort (very impressive on his part). Javier does a great job from his staff that takes care of the grounds to the highly energetic entertainment staff. Our room was very well decorated, clean and spacious which made it feel nothing like a normal hotel room we would normally stay in. The staff here at Silversands could not have been better, always wanting to make sure we were "good" and happy.” We were very happy with the variety of 7 restaurants and food that was available to us and really enjoyed the Asian Himitsu restaurant where our waiter Roger was very knowledgeable and a real joy to be around.
Again our thanks to you and the service you provide especially knowing the properties and managers personally. This is a tremendous help for us when visiting a property for the first time not really knowing what to expect. Since this was our second Secrets property we stayed at, and again extremely satisfied, we can't wait to talk to you about our next trip and your recommendations for another fabulous vacation.
